“That event horizon’s only getting closer, ExI. Punch the coordinates and jump us out.”
The android froze and tilted its face up toward the overhead above the helm.
“Aw hell, Exoanthropic Intelligence my left foot! Don’t tell me you can’t remember.”
“Bulk expulsion of superannuated data is a hallmark of higher-order cognition.” It pressed its palms together.
“We’ll be superannuated in a minute!”
“Don’t distract me.”
“Are you recalculating?”
“No.” It paused. “I’m praying.”
“Oh God.”
“Precisely.”
“You’re not seriously blind jumping, are you?”
“Have faith.” Carbon fiber fingers deftly keyed the nav console. “To forget is divine.”
They vanished.

Love your title.

I once wrote a blog called, “I ink, therefore I am” about tattoos. I may have written another one called the same thing, part 2. I know that’s why I was so impressed by your cleverness in the title. ~nan

The site which it was on closed. Supposedly, the Red Room site was planning on archiving other them all, but I don’t know. I have a printed copy of it, but have never posted it again, not for any particular reason than just laziness. Maybe I’ll dust it off, and post it again. If I do, I will let you know.
